About
If you find yourself wandering the charming streets of Paris, make sure to visit Dupont Versailles, a delightful cafe nestled at 386 Rue de Vaugirard, just a stone's throw from the Expo des Versailles. From the moment you step inside, you are enveloped in a warm and inviting ambiance that highlights the beauty of French café culture.
Dupont Versailles boasts a reputation for its friendly staff, exemplified by the service of Aram, who has left an indelible mark on patrons with his generous spirit and attentiveness. As one customer aptly noted, he not only provided a menu but also showcased a tantalizing selection of pastries on a tray. It is these personal touches that elevate the dining experience here.
The menu, though varied, appears to shine brightest with its desserts. Guests have raved about the creamy and perfectly crafted crème brûlée, a must-try with its ideal sugar layer and luscious filling. However, Dupont Versailles offers more than just sweets; the hefty portions of lasagna and pasta have impressed visitors too, ensuring that no one leaves hungry.
For those on the go, or perhaps in search of a cozy spot to lounge while catching a sporting event like the World Cup semi-final, Dupont Versailles serves as a haven. While opinions on certain dishes like the crepes may vary, the inviting atmosphere, paired with the quality of food and exceptional service, more than compensates for any culinary critiques.
In conclusion, Dupont Versailles is a delightful retreat whether you need a late-night coffee fix, a picturesque brunch after a day of exploration, or a spot to savor delightful pastries. With large portions, friendly service, and an overall welcoming vibe, it’s no wonder this café draws both locals and tourists alike.
“ I had for brunch an omelette and a sweet crepe. Weren't too excited about it. Crepe was too crusty. But it has a variety of options to it at a rather good price. It's also located very clause to Expo des Versailles, rendering a good place to sit and have a meal after a day at a fair. ”
“ Went there to watch the World Cup semi final. The staffs were honestly super nice and I don’t understand why the reviews of the staffs are so bad here. The food was not bad. The highlight of the course was definitely their crème brûlée. The sugar layer was the perfect thickness and the texture of the crème was so perfect. The only thing I would say is that their orange juice is super bitter. ”
“ Big portions and good food. Friendly staff, we liked the place. We wanted to eat and this was first place we found coming from metro. My son couldnt eat all the pasta and we could take one and share it. Portions of lazanja and pasta was really big. ”
“ Lovely cafe, lovely staff and I love that it was open so late. We only had coffee and dessert. They were happy to serve us even though kitchen had closed. The service from Aram was absolutely the best. What a kind gentleman, when we asked what they had for dessert he didn’t just hand over the menu, he brought out all the available pastries on a tray! Man’s a legend. Thank you. ”
